This is our cablecast/playback rack. EBCTV programs are "burned" to a DVD and played back on one of four DVD players. Since most EBCTV programs are acquired on DVCAM tapes, the cablecast/playback rack also has a DSR 11 DVCAM deck which can play tapes directly over the cable system. While EBCTV has shifted to "all digital," some programs still come in to us on VHS or 3/4 inch tape, so we have retained decks that can playback those legacy formats.
